Unflattering and small

Purchased a medium because I wear a medium. 27 jeans. This was so tight in the waist and hit at an awkward place once situated to feel like I could tolerate it. It’s not flattering to wear because it’s bulky and not slimming at all. It’s also very heavy. I wanted to return but the process was a pain and I had to pay for return shipping.
